SEVENTEEN (세븐틴) also written as SVT is a 13-member South Korean boy group created and managed by PLEDIS Entertainment.They officially debuted on May 26th, 2015 with their song "Adore U". and mini - album 17 CARAT which became the longest charting album on the Billboard World Albums chart in 2015.The 13 members are further split into 3 units - hip hop, vocal, and performanceSVT are known for being "self-producing" idols -- a name that results from their heavy involvement in their projects, music writing, music production, and their choreography.SVT are insane performers that have come to be known for their complicated, skillful, and highly synchronized choreography.Their fandom name is CARATS which comes from the song "Shining Diamond".
